A materials and project-support partner for cathodic protection

Jiaozuo Libo Light Alloy Co., Ltd., founded in 2012 and located in Wuzhi County, Jiaozuo, Henan Province, is a high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, development, production and sale of cathodic protection corrosion-control materials, as well as engineering design and construction. Its main products are magnesium, aluminum and zinc alloy sacrificial anodes. Its services cover corrosion-control material manufacturing, cathodic protection system design, engineering construction, testing and evaluation, and technical services for the energy, water resources, municipal infrastructure, port and wharf, shipbuilding and offshore engineering sectors. To address the corrosion-protection needs of pipelines, storage tanks, steel piles and metal structures in hydraulic engineering, its product range includes sacrificial anodes, impressed-current anodes, power supply and control equipment, testing and monitoring products, and construction accessories, covering more than ten product types and hundreds of specifications. Material selection, customized dimensions, installation drawings and coordinated supply can be provided according to project conditions. The laboratory conducts raw-material testing, in-process quality control, finished-product testing and electrochemical performance evaluation in support of product manufacturing and engineering services. Libo Light Alloy is one of the principal drafting organizations for two national standards on cathodic protection. It operates the Jiaozuo Marine and Soil Corrosion Protection Engineering Technology Research Center, an enterprise technology research center and a pilot-scale testing base. It also collaborates with the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Henan Polytechnic University on industry-university-research activities and jointly operates a practical training base for professional-degree postgraduate students. The technical team includes engineers with experience at established factories, and some engineers have nearly 30 years of industry experience.
